SMEDAN, ITF, BoI target 10,000 youths for skills development training

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), under its National Enterprises Development Programme (NEDEP) is set to train about 10,000 youths drawn from 18 states.

The massive empowerment scheme is coming vide a partnership with two other agencies including the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Bank of Industry (BoI).

In a statement by SMEDAN, the flag off ceremony would be performed by the agency’s Director-General/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda in Abuja.

The beneficiaries will be trained in 54 centres across the 18 states on key vocational skills training on entrepreneurship and business development under the NIDSP programme.
