Nigeria crude output still rising as no pipeline vandalism recorded in three months

The federal Government has given more reasons why the nation’s rising foreign reserve may continue as oil exportation had been seamless in the last three months due to stability in the Niger Delta.

In a statement issued by the Director of Press in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Idang Alibi, government revealed that peace process it initiated had witnessed no pipeline vandalism arising from militant activities in the Niger Delta in the past three months.

The release tied the feat to consultations and ongoing discussions with Niger Delta stakeholders, noting that “pursuing peace, security and stability in the Niger Delta was an integral aspect of the implementation of the ministry’s target for the year”.
