Exclusive: TB Joshua opens up on source of his powers on Hebrew TV2 Israel
Barely one week after Business Hilights broke the news of pressure from Israelis on Senior Prophet TB Joshua to relocate the Synagogue Church of All nations (SCOAN) from Nigeria to a religious site near the Sea of Galilee, our correspondent has secured a fresh tape detailing the entire build up to the pressure aired on leading Israeli TV Station, Hebrew TV 2.
The explosive interview was conducted in Hebrew language but subtitled in English.
The Ondo State born Prophet had went on pilgrimage to the Holyland last two week where he was put under pressure to dump Nigeria and relocate to Israel and continue his ministry work.
Details from the tape showed that the development started when a leading Jewish leader and Rabbi Yehuda Meshi-Zahav visited SCOAN Nigeria and observed a Service at the Church earlier in the year.
Explaining issues on the TV interview when he was asked “How did you get your power?, he humbly replied, saying, “From my father, Jesus, who was born in this land. Am an inheritance of His grace”.
But when Rabbai Meshi-Zahav was asked “What do you have to do with this Christian exorcist, he was quick to reply that “He is not a sorcerer. He is a spiritual man. All of him is all about giving”.
“Listen, me and you could have an option about anybody.
But at the end of the day, it’s about faith and everybody who believes, knows that the power of faith is bigger than anything else.
He heals them and people believe that he heals them.
“People that feel strong pains suddenly stand on their legs and start to run around saying there is results.
So, what is the difference if you go to the Rabbi and receive a blessing and you believe, or you go to another place and pray?
“At the end of the day, all of us believe that there is someone above who hears our request,” Rabbai Meshi-Zahav.
Cutting in; TB Joshua said “I do not know how this relationship began; between a founder of a rescue organization and a deliverance minister of God”.
“I feel that we are doing the same job. And I said no, two believers are better than one.
Giving more insights on his experience at SCOAN during the TV discussion in Israel, Rabbai Meshi-Zahav noted that “He is a friend, he is a brother. I recognize him as a man of faith”.
“I have been to the Church and at 4am in the morning I saw thousands of people waiting outside for the church service.
“I asked what are they doing here at this hour, they were preparing for the day’s Church Service.
You see, the church service lasts for hours.
“Look the amount of enquiry am getting from the people that know I because I have access to him is enormous. These are people that have been to all sorts of doctors and taken all sorts of medication who are begging that I just connect them to him.
“Thank God am happy to get blessings from him, and am always asking him for more blessings.
Our Correspondent gathered that Prophet during the tour of religious sites took pictures with the head of the Council of the Jordan valley, Idan Grinbaum; the mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat; and visited the Cave of the Patriarchs and so many other places.
The TV presenter described TB Joshua as a lover of God and nature, saying “He spends solitary hours, sometimes days in nature and receives enlightenment from above. At the moment he receives enlightenment, he works with it to the end”.
Continuing, the presenter of the TV documentary of the Prophet’s tour of Israel averred that “Either way, there are serious expectations that demons will start to be exposed from the Sea of Galilee. He will bring thousands of pilgrims. He calls it “A Spiritual vacation”.
“What he does to them there (referring to SCOAN Nigeria), he wants to bring it here in Israel.
Also he wants to immediately start bringing people.
“Israelis believe that the Sea of Galilee may come back to life when Prophet TB Joshua starts like he does in the summer. Or maybe the pigs that were possessed by the demons will appear from the Sea.
“If the Prophet decides that his place is with us here, who are we to think otherwise?” the TV presenter asked.
It would be recalled that he was taken round the massive expanse of land near the Sea of Galilee which they hope to be for the new SCOAN in Israel.
However, in a swift reaction to the pressure from Israel, the federal government, through the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has begun to beg the Prophet not to leave for the interest of Nigerians and tourism development in the economy.
The Israel TV Channel said during the introductory part of the documentary that “6 out of every 10 visitors to Nigeria go to TB Joshua”.
Apart from the minister, many other eminent Nigerians have joined in the calls for change of mind, saying inspite the observed persecution of his person and ministry, this is the time Nigeria and Africa in deed need the Ondo State-born deliverance minister as he was referred to in Israel.
Born 53 years ago, TB Joshua was said to have spent 15 months in his mother’s womb.
When he was seven years old, the devil made the first attempt over his life when meters of rock broke though his roof from an explosion in a nearby quarry.
He survived the attack and when he matured, he began to cast out demons without minding borders in his church located at Ikotu-Egbe axis of Lagos State.
Business Hilights exclusively gathered that contrary to speculations that he has made up his mind, Prophet TB Joshua is yet to take a final decision on the matter of relocating to Galilee or not.
