Telecommunications giant, MTN Nigeria, has joined forced with global solar company, Lumos Corporation, to unveil mobile solar power systems for families and businesses nationwide.
The five-year warranty electricity device can light up bulbs and power fans, televisions, cellphones and computers.
The national roll-out billed for the 20th of this month in Abuja, would formally announce the presence of the innovative product in the country.
Coming as Lumos Mobile Electricity Service and powered by MTN, the solution is set to catalyse growth and improve the daily living of Nigerians by providing alternative electricity in the absence of public power supply.
The group said with the new product, people can enjoy accessible, noise and fume-free electricity for daily use and pay with airtime from an MTN mobile phone.
