Zenith Bank partners LASPARK, Council to lift Ajose Adeogun, roundabout
Leading financial giant, Zenith Bank Plc., has yet again deepened its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Lagos by changing the face of the mega roundabout linking Adetokunmbo Ademola and its host street, Ajose Adeogun on Lagos Island.
The feat was achieved in a partnership with the Iru-Victoria Island LCDA and the Lagos State Parks and Garden Agency (LASPACK).
Features coming with the new improvement include fine art works and paintings depicting past and present leaders of the state and the Council by Art wizkid, Mr. Emmanuel Imogu.
The side-view park on the side of the sprawling Eko Hotels and Suites has portraits of traditional rulers, the governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and former governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other officials of the Local Council Development Area.
A living water fountain and green tuft to match the new ‘Iru Serenity Park’ are laced to raise the virtual attractive and experience of the beatification project powered by Zenith Bank.
Inside the two-sided Serenity Parks on the roundabout, are inbuilt seats and security guards to maintain the true serenity which has raised the beauty of the environment both during the day and more inspiringly at nights.
Business Hilights recalls that the bank had some years back single handedly reconstructed the entire Ajose Adeogun Street and turned it to the most loaded high street on the axis as it has the highest volume of blue chip businesses including the Zenith Bank head office.
Further investigations on the Island showed that Ajose Adeogun which had been under the yearly maintenance bill of Zenith Bank remains the longest street with no potholes in the entire Victoria Island till date.
