TB Joshua explains why he is always on simple long-sleeves, trousers in Sunday Service
The senior pastor and founder of Synagogue Church of All Nation (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua during yesterday’s Live Sunday Service in Lagos, opened up on why he hardly clads himself on gorgeous attire characteristic of African pastor.
African pastors are easily identified during their worship service with their designers’ suit or flamboyant traditional wears, but none of these is easily identified with Pastor Joshua in recent times during any of his church service both home and abroad.
Explaining during the church service, he said he dresses simple so as to free his body, hands and legs for the work of God which includes deliverance from afflictions and evil attacks.
He added that with long-sleeves, he can raise his hand and legs to any direction without any encumbrance from what he is wearing.
Continuing, he revealed that “Even the belt am wearing, if you remove it from my waist, my trouser can still stand”.
According to him “my tailor is usually directed to work on my trousers to stick to my waist so that they can fit even better without putting on belt”.
Many of the church members who spoke to Business Hilights after Sunday Service could not recall when last Prophet TB Joshua celebrated Sunday Live Service on suit or flamboyant traditional wears in the last six years.
