The managing director of leading Internet Services Provider (ISP), Spectranet Limited, Mr. David Venn has again disclosed that based on the supersonic speed of its 4G LTE driven services and tailored penetration models, the company will continue to be the leader in the ISPs space for long.

In a telephone interview on Tuesday, he told Business Hilights that Spectranet has the best infrastructure and network to provide 4G services in the ISPs segment of the market.

According to him, “We have one of the best structured networks with lowest service interruption which remains the key edge of the company in service deliveries since inception”.

“People are taking up our services because we give the best in the market and will continue to do so as we expand to new spaces.

On the penetration strategy, Venn disclosed that selecting the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and related population and giving them their needed services has continued to give Spectranet an edge over others.

“We were at Computer Village today to review sales with our Channel managers and feedback is looking good which means that we are right on track and our services are enjoying the acceptance of Nigerians in need of real 4G services.

He added that Spectranet will continue to upgrade services with the needed innovations and added services to subscribers, stressing that more better deals still await prospective subscribers as the network is regularly rejigged to contain rising subscriber base.

On the reasons behind the observed internet uptake by Nigerians based on the latest data released by the regulator, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Venn said more of the reasons cannot be too far from the state of the economy and the prevailing recession which has forced many to begin to forgo certain things the ordinarily consider as luxury.

Venn however hinted that the trend is gradually picking up and may peak as economy stabilizes and disposal income grows.
