Puchercos reveals why Lafarge Africa earned membership of NSE Premium Board

The managing director of Lafarge Africa Plc., Mr. Michel Puchercos has given fresh details on the company’s successful journey to earning the prestigious member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) premium board membership.

In his comments shortly after the induction at the Exchange on Monday, he revealed that “Lafarge Africa adopted the LafargeHolcim Code on Ethics and Business Conduct which ensures that all directors, officers and employees share a common commitment to conducting business with integrity and, compliance with existing rules and regulations relevant to the Company’s operations”.

While urging new members of the premium Board to leverage their new status for the overall good of the investing public, he assured that Lafarge will continue to do the needful in corporate governance and operational performance at all times.

Business Hilights recalls that Lafarge Africa Plc. joined 3 other companies in the elite Premium Board of the Nigeria Stock Exchange on Monday. This followed an announcement made by the Exchange last Friday, notifying the Monday’s induction ceremony at the Exchange.

Other companies that were migrated along with Lafarge at a grand ceremony on the floor of the Nigeria Stock Exchange on Monday the 16th of April 2018 were Access Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA) and Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc.
