Organized labour worried over FG’s silence as ultimatum expires Wednesday
Though the Federal Government said the Tripartite Committee on the National Minimum Wage would conclude its negotiation before the expiration of the 14-day ultimatum issued by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the ultimatum end tomorrow and labour leaders are becoming upset.
Address Nigerians while announcing the ultimatum, the labour unions made up of all leading groups where economical with words on their next line of action should the government fail after tomorrow.

Earlier weekend, Chairman of the committee, Ms Amal Pepple, gave signal that talks are ongoing with labour to shelve the warning strike.
Business Hilights recalls that the organised labour had on Sept. 12 issued a 14-day ultimatum that would expire today to the Federal Government for the committee to reconvene and complete it assignment. Labour also said it would commence nationwide strike immediately after the expiration of its 14 days ultimatum if their demand was not met.
