Indication has emerged that part of the multiplier effects coming from the recent listing of Med-View Airline at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) is expansion of services beyond the shores of Nigeria.

Accordingly, the company has said by April, Med-View Airline Plc will be expanding its operations to Francophone West African countries.

Within the period under review, the airline will be hitting the market with an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to enable more investors to buy into the company and raise additional funds.

Business Hilights recalls that the airline, had listed 9,750,649,400 ordinary shares of 50 kobo at N1.50 each on the Nigerian Stock Exchange on January 31, 2017.

Managing Director of Med-View Airline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole, said in Lagos that the airline would expand its operations to Dakar (Senegal), Conakry (Guinea) and Abidjan (Cote D’Ivoire) in the next two months, noting that it had already commenced flight service on the Lome (Togo) route. Med-View airline will also service the Lagos-Dubai route in April, which has been in the pipeline for over two years, while that of Baltimore, United States will start soon.

Bankole who maintained that the aim of the airline is to connect all West African states before hitting Europe cities averred that “We are in the market not to do anything extraordinary, but to let all Nigerians know that there is something to grow together. This is a private entity that started from zero. The durable, profitable and safest business you can do is transport”.
