INEC free to disenfranchise anybody that fails to register for PVC before Friday
All is set for the end of registration for new Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC) from August 17 ahead of the 2019 General Elections.
Accordingly, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), political parties and even the civil societies have advised those that are yet to collect theirs to do so as soon as possible.

The vote is the most powerful instrument ever devised by man for breaking down injustice and destroying the terrible walls which imprison men because they are different from other men.
The one sure way of participating in the process of nation-building is to vote on the Election Day.
The vote is indeed a trust more delicate than any other, for it involves not just the interests of the voter, but his life, honor and future as well.
Nobody will ever deprive the Nigerian people of the right to vote except the Nigerian people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting.

CHECKING YOUR STATUS

Before going to register to vote again, your registration from 2011 or 2015 may still be valid for 2019.

Confirm the status of your voter registration on this weblink (http://voterreg.inecnigeria.org/)
3.
If you can find your details, then your registration is still valid. DO NOT register again!
4.
If you could not find your details, go and register IMMEDIATELY. To check how and where to register, click here (http://www.govote.ng/locator)
5.
If your status is VALID, go and pick up your Permanent Voters Card (PVC) at your Local Government Secretariat before December 18th, 2018.

7.
If you lost your Permanent Voters Card (PVC) from 2011-2015, click (http://www.govote.ng/lost)
