Glo rounds off Mega Music Tour in Ikorodu on Saturday

Leading national carrier and grandmasters of data, Globacom will on Saturday, tomorrow end its nationwide 27-city Mega Music Nationwide Tour with a superlative show in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

A statement issued on Friday evening listed artistes scheduled to perform at the show to include the new hi-hop sensation, Axterix, Marvin records queen, Di’Ja, vocalist, Kiss Daniel, the Nabania singer, Flavour, the Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya, and the Idoma-born music master, Tuface.

According to Glo,  the show  which will be held at the Ikorodu Musical Village at 4.00 p.m. will be anchored by Nollywood divas, Juliet Ibrahim and Uche Jombo, while Patience Ozokwor, a.k.a. Mama G, Kanayo O. Kanayo (KOK) and Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) will be celebrity guests.

Explaining why the show is holding for the fifth time in Lagos, Globacom averred that “this goes to show the prime place Lagos State occupies in our minds in the scheme of things. As a company, we believe that nothing is too big for us to celebrate and reward our teeming subscribers for their loyalty and faith in the Glo Brand”.

Business Hilights recalls that residents of Ajah and its environs had last week, got serenaded to a generous dose of laughter when the sister show, the Glo Laffta Fest, held in the locality.

Chronicles showed that Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour  kicked off in Awka, Anambra State, on April 15, 2017 and has gone round  26 different cities and locations such as Aba, Calabar, Asaba, Benin, Victoria Island, Ajah, Ikeja, Benin, Port Harcourt, Owerri, Ekpoma, Enugu, Kubwa, Abuja, Suleja, Makurdi, Lokoja, Ayingba, twice in Port Harcourt and Ibadan, Akure, Abeokuta and Ijebu Ode.

Globacom encouraged subscribers willing to attend the show to recharge their Glo SIM card with a minimum of N2,000 within a month for either voice or data usage and send a text message “MUSIC IKORODU”  to a short code 207. The subscribers will subsequently receive messages inviting them for the show.
