…As PMB declares for second term
A top official of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oriade LCDA in Amuwo-Odofin, Rev. Caleb Ebijimi, has called on national leaders of the party to give all needed support to the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to steer the ship of the party from build up to the conduct of 2019 general elections.
Speaking in an interview shortly after President Muhammdau Buhari declared his interest to contest the 2019 presidential election on Monday, he said “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should be given another chance to lead the All Progressive Party (APC) to victory again. We should all join hands with him to do it again. Yes, we are all politicians, but Asiwaju Tinubu has a strategic talent in programming best ways of winning election”.
“He has the brain, he knows the system, he has the method, and he has the knowledge, he has the wisdom, he has the understanding, he has the skill of leadership with credibility, a leader with vision.
While describing Asiwaju Tinubu as a courageous leader; a leader that cares; and a leader that has focus, Ebijimi averred that “his being a coward less leader, a leader at home and abroad, the best option at the national level now is to heed to his technical advice on the approaching 2019 elections to avoid regrettable errors after”.
The APC chieftain recalled that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu “Right from the onset of democracy in 1999, he led and won Lagos state election with Action Congress (AD) and other states. Even in 2003, he made sure that Lagos remained within the party, thus becoming the only state in the south west in 2003. From there, he worked towards the victory of the remaining five states in the south west including Edo state and of cause, he lead to win the federal in 2015”.
“From every indication, we can agree with me that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is chief Obafemi Awolowo of our time, Alhaji Sir Ahmadu Bello of our time and Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe of our time. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the leader of leaders.
“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has produced Governors, Senators, House of representative members, Assemblies, chairmen of Local Governments in Nigeria and so on.
“Let us give honour to whom it’s due. Let us join hands together with Asiwaju to achieve more than what we achieved in 2015 next year in Nigeria. We can still do it,” Rev Ebijimi stressed.
