No doubt, Nigeria remains the Africa’s motoring nation with the choicest status symbol cars and as such, leading indigenous manufacturer, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company ltd (IVM) has officially revealed four classy road machines for the Nigerian market.
Top in the list include IVM G80, IVM G40, IVM Granite, and IVM G20. All these models are produced at IVM factory in Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria.
The Innoson’s product-launch event, organized by IVM, took place at its factory, No. 2 Innoson Ind. Estate, Akwu-Uru, Uru Umudim Nnewi. The historic event was attended by Oba (Dr) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, Emperor Telu 1, the Olowu of Iwo Land in Osun State, a first class paramount ruler, captains of industries, federal and state government delegations.
In his keynote address during the launch, Minister of Industry, Trade & Investment, Dr. Okechukwu Enyinna Enelamah, said that the Federal Government was very happy that the country finally has affordable made-in-Nigeria vehicles.
Also commending the Dr. Innocent Chukwuma led industrial group, the Director General of National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Mr. Jelani Aliyu noted that NADDC was solidly behind IVM and would continuously support the local automobile and auto components manufacturers to grow their production ability.
Checks by Business Hilights revealed that the four new products are now at displays at various showrooms of the company in parts of Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
