Dangote disrupting business models to remain atop industrial revolution

The President of Dangote group and Africa’s most influential business mogul, Aliko Dangote, in Lagos on Thursday revealed one of his innovative business development strategies, saying “Dangote is always disrupting ageing business models so as to continue to dominate industrial growth in strategic sectors of the Nigerian and even African economies”.

In his presentation at the Access Bank’s driven Africa Fintech Foundry (AFF) Conference held at Eko Hotels and Suites, he said data driven business process grow businesses faster in line with disruptive technologies that kept on growing from day to day in shaping industrial investments and business decisions.

Dangote, represented by a top official of the group, Mr. Usen Udoh averred that Fintech is currently boosting transformative service delivery and the best bet for a populous country like Nigeria is to support and encourage the youths so that they can move faster in the ever dynamic data and innovation driven world of commerce.

According to him, Dangote Group, having observed the imports of Fintech in industrial development, is currently investing in automation and robotics across all production outlets to be in form with global best practices and match emerging industrial processes.

Business Hilights recalls that Dangote, Africa’s current highest producer of cement recently commissioned its latest plant in Congo where automation drives daily production just the way all the Nigerian factories are run.
