Cosharis Group boss lists steps to successful business development for start-ups
Leading indigenous business grower and President, Cosharis Group, Dr Cosmos Maduka has averred that “Start-ups must understand that enduring businesses are not products of chance, they are characterised by clear vision and growth strategies actualised through prepared, structured and efficient leadership”.
In his presentation as lead guest speaker at the recent Fate Foundation annual alumni conference in Lagos, he stressed the need for start-ups to undergo apprenticeship programmes to gain practical knowledge to build their businesses.
According to him, “People will only invest in your business when they know where you are coming from and how you intend to scale up your business”.

Continuing, Dr Maduka argued that doing business requires capital and capital can be defined as a resource so one must learn how to utilize resource(s) for sustainable development.
He observed that behind every successful startup, there is a dogged determination, unwavering commitment, and divine providence that combined to catalyse a lofty business dream even in the face of daunting challenges.
The entrepreneur who is currently disrupting the nation’s auto space made it clear that “What is important is to learn the patience to go through the process to become rich and embrace the culture of hard work and engagement in legitimate business that demands determination to achieve success.
