36 ships with petroleum products, food items, others coming till Oct 21st—NPA

Shipping data obtained from the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has shown that36 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected to arrive in Lagos ports between Oct. 7 and Oct. 21.

Other commodities the ships are discharging included general cargoes, wheat, fertilizer, frozen fish, yellow corn, base oil, containers, gypsum, butane, diesel and petrol. It said that

NPA said that the expected ships would also ferry into the country, bulk sugar, frozen fish, bulk gypsum, base oil, tugboat, containers, bulk charcoal, diesel, crude palmolein, bulk wheat and petrol.

Within this weekend, about 15 ships will discharge petroleum products and other commodities at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos.

The document noted that nine ships had arrived at the ports, waiting to berth with petrol, container and bulk fertilizers.
