11 Plc rejoins aviation fuel business with new 20m litres tank farm in Apapa
Chances of aviation jet fuel (ATK) becoming scarce in Nigeria are becoming slimmer as former player, 11 PIc, has reentered the sub sector, now with bigger investments and infrastructure.
Otherwise, the group has rejoined the sale and marketing of ATK at the Murtala Mohamed International Airport and General Aviation Terminal (GAT – Domestic), in collaboration with Air BP.
A presentation at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), showed that the company’s aviation business which has been inactive for the past five years is strongly coming back with the construction of a new 20 million liter aviation jet fuel (ATK) tank, laying of new ATK pipelines linking the company’s facility at Apapa with the Apapa Jetty.
Giving further insights on the development, Managing Director/CEO, 11 Plc, Mr. Adetunji Oyebanji averred that “We are delighted with the relaunch and our collaboration with Air BP. We are leveraging their innovative technical support and risk management expertise to provide best-in-class aviation fuel services to airline customers.”
